Trelawny always offers numerous extra-curricular activities including Intramural Sports, Technology Team, The Maple Leaf Choir, a Musical and a variety of clubs that include scrapbooking, chess, calligraphy, and French! Whatever your interest, Trelawny has something to offer! Discovering Our Leadership Potential is a Grade Five leadership program that focuses on the development of leadership skills and community service. We are very proud of Trelawny's outreach to the local community as well as the world-wide community.
Our outstanding academic programs will challenge and support all learners. The staff of Trelawny are committed to student success. The Kinder-Phonics and Primary Literacy Program boost reading skills for the primary children. Our library offers programs that encourage even the most reluctant of readers. Programs offered through the library include "Feature Books of the Month", boys and literacy as well as special programs such as the MS Read-a-thon, Silver Birch, Red Oak, White Pine and Blue Spruce for our primary students. Author Visits and Book Fairs are common at Trelawny. The effective use of technology continues to be a focus as we prepare our students for their future.
